Dinabandhu received his B.Sc. (Chemistry Hons) and M.Sc. in Organic chemistry from Vidyasagar University, India. He obtained his doctoral degree from IIT Guwahati under supervision of Prof. Tharmalingam Punniyamurthy in January 2017. During his Ph.D. he worked on the reactivity of Hydrazones for the synthesis of Pyrazoles and Nitromethyl Sulfones and application of Pyrazoles. He joined in the group of Prof. Dipanjan Pan at UIUC in June 2017. His research interest includes synthesis of small molecules for biosensing and anti-cancer therapy.
