Biosensing

We are interested in developing point-of-care (POC) biosensors for objective assessment of disease by detection of novel biomarkersĀ in human tear fluidĀ and biodegradable electronics. For this part of the work, our goal is to use human tear, identify novel biomarkers through proteomic analysis and develop a biosensor for objective assessment for eye injuries or other systemic diseases. Other enquiries include the development of POC sensor for traumatic brain injury (TBI) using electrochemical impedance or plasmonics with a biologically disintegrable electronic sensor for post-surgical leakage.
