Katherine is an undergraduate student majoring in Materials Science and Engineering with a Polymers concentration. She also plans on pursuing a minor in Chemistry. She joined the Pan research group in the fall of 2018 where she is trying to study the luminescence properties of carbon nanoparticles and how it can be applied for drug delivery. On campus, she is also involved as a lab assistant at the Loomis Laboratory of Physics. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, exploring coffee shops, and watching scary movies.
